It is time once again for Extra Table’s Annual Christmas Concert. The event will be a traditional Christmas concert and always features a special guest narrator. This year’s narrator is none other than GAC’s Nan Kelley, former Miss Mississippi and host of Host of Opry Live! and Top 20 Country Countdown.
The participating choirs are made up of students from Forrest County Schools, Petal Schools, Sacred Heart Schools, Hattiesburg Public Schools, Lamar County Schools and Presbyterian Christian Schools (PCS). In addition, the choir will be directed by Dr. Jay Dean, Music Director and conductor of the Southern Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, and will be accompanied by the Hattiesburg Chamber Orchestra.
Tickets to the event will go on sale on Monday, November 3, 2014. $20 for adults and $10 for children. Contact the Saenger Theater at (601) 584-4888 to purchase tickets.
