Just days ago, the community of Columbia, MS was devastated by an F3 tornado that ripped through Marion County. Homes, businesses, and even precious lives were lost. Though we know that it will take time to heal and rebuild from such an event, there is something we can all do immediately to help those who are now working to piece their lives and homes back together.
Over the next several days, Extra Table will be collecting donations to begin shipping new, healthy food to the Marion County Food Pantry in Columbia, MS. You can donate now by:
1–Writing a check to Extra Table (with ‘Columbia’ in the memo line) and sending it to P.O. Box 17318 Hattiesburg, MS 39404
2–Donate through the Paypal site for The Greater Pine Belt Community Foundation where we have our Extra Table food accounts stored. Be sure to designate you donation toward ‘Columbia’ or email us once you’ve donated to let us know.
