The 2026 March of the Mayors was our most impactful year yet—and it would not have been possible without the incredible volunteers, leaders, and communities who showed up to fight hunger across Mississippi.

Because of you, this is what we accomplished:

1 mission • 5 days • 5 regions
63 mayors representing 69 food pantries
12 new mayors joined in 2026
11,160 food boxes packed in one week
44,512 total boxes packed over 6 years
(That’s more than 1.3 million meals for Mississippi families.)

This year alone, volunteers helped pack over 3,000 additional boxes, resulting in an estimated 334,000 meals—a nearly 32% increase from 2025.

What This Means

March of the Mayors continues to prove that when communities come together, real change happens. Every box packed represents meals on tables, relief for families, and hope for neighbors across our state.
