We are well on our way through 2014 and “spring fever” is quite the buzz around the office. We could not be more excited for the things to come to as we have been planning, scheming, and dreaming big for the new year.

Shipping 34 tons of food to soup kitchens and food pantries in Mississippi, 2013 was a monumental year for us. We had a successful 5k Hunger Run with awesome volunteers and a Christmas concert worthy of Madison Square Garden in December- snow included. We created new partnerships and community boards on the coast and in Jackson. Now, with the help of the Dan Mullen Foundation, we look forward to expanding into North Mississippi this year. With your help, we are able to grow and reach our neighbors all over the state.

We are going into 2014 headstrong motivated by an urgent need. In April, we look forward to being the focus of a leadership class service project for a week long of campus involvement at Southern Miss. Hattiesburg’s Festival South is just around the corner. People from all over will gather in the Hub City for a month of music, art exhibits, and good food. We are so excited to host Mac McAnally and members of the Coral Reefer Band on June 14th. From profit share nights in Jackson to zumbathons, we are honored to have you standing by our side in the fight against hunger.
