It’s time for the 12th Annual Purple Parrot Café Wine Festival on April 1, 2016!
Over the years, the tasting event has become known as a one-of-a-kind experience for the region. The festival features 35 winemakers and vendors from around the world, some traveling from as far as Australia, Spain, Germany, and beyond. Attendees also get the unique experience of face-to-face time to meet the winemakers and vineyard owners who make each of the wines possible.
With over 110 wines to sample and food provided by host restaurant Purple Parrot Café, festival goers get to enjoy a world-class event while contributing to an important local cause. For the past 4 years, the Purple Parrot Wine Festival has partnered with Extra Table, a local non-profit that works to fight hunger in Mississippi, to host the event. 100% of proceeds from the April 17 event will be donated to Extra Table to further their mission of providing new, healthy food to those who need it most.
