The tradition of the Purple Parrot Café Wine Festival will continue this spring, for the 11th year, on April 17, 2015.
Over the years, the tasting event has emerged as a one-of-a-kind experience in the region. The festival features 35 winemakers and vendors from around the world, some traveling from as far as Australia, Spain, Germany, and beyond. This will be a completely unique experience in Mississippi to taste great wines and meet the winemakers and vineyard owners who make them possible.
With over 110 wines to sample and food provided by host restaurant Purple Parrot Café, festival goers get to enjoy a world-class event while contributing to an important local cause. For the past 3 years, the Purple Parrot Wine Festival has partnered with Extra Table, a local non-profit that works to fight hunger in Mississippi, to host the event. 100% of proceeds from the April 17event will be donated to Extra Table.
