Today kicks off the first day of our “Christmas in July” Summer Fundraiser!

During the summer months (June -August), food pantries suffer from ‘food droughts’–a dramatic lack of food supply and donations. For example,Edwards Street Fellowship Center food pantry in Hattiesburg only receives 2,492 lbs of food during the summer months, compared to 19,342 lbs in November and December alone.

YOU can help change that! Here are 3 easy ways to donate:

1) Text “EXTRA” to 41-444 and make a donation straight from your phone.

2) When you eat at Crescent City Grill, Branch, or Purple Parrot Cafe in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, or  Broad Street Bakery & Cafe, Sal & Mookie’s New York Pizza & Ice Cream Joint or BRAVO! Italian Restaurant and Bar in Jackson and add a donation on the Extra Table tip line at the bottom of your bill.
